Measure 11 - Measure 11 is a state law that creates mandatory minimum sentences of 70 months or more for people convicted of person felony crimes such as Arson, Assault, Compelling Prostitution, Kidnapping, Murder, Rape, Robbery, Sex Abuse and other offenses. Expungments - Oregon law allows people who have been convicted of certain offenses to apply to the court to seal their arrest and conviction records. Most misdemeanors and lesser felonies can be expunged from the public record. In most cases, three years after the date of the conviction, the defendant can petition the court to have their records of arrest and conviction sealed and removed from the public files.
